I think it's a case of "if she doesn't change her ways soon, she's going to die". She's morbidly obese, has gained 180 lbs over the last decade.

They showed her trying to eat a piece of a vegetable, and started retching. She was also gagging while touching a sliced tomato. "I'd rather stick my hand in a toilet than touch a vegetable."
She and her husband eat and prepare meals separately, as she retches at the smell of food other than cheesy potatoes.
I....wow.
