Oh yeah - had to switch my insulin to one that is FDA approved for use during pregnancy, but I have to take something. I'd die without it.

Right now I'm on 3-4x the amt of insulin I was on pre-preg. It's ridiculous.

My body is more resistant to the insulin, so it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. As a result, my blood sugars are wacky. Looking forward to better controlled sugars once he's out.

- I've been told (by doctors and fellow diabetics) that once the cord is cut, my insulin needs with plummet, almost dangerously so. I'll have to shut my - kelly Jan 24, 19:38
