Perhaps the more compassionate option would be to talk to one of the hospital social workers about it.

Maybe she's there because she has a relative or friend in ICU. Or maybe she has a sick child in treatment and can't afford a hotel. Maybe she's getting chemo or some other outpatient treatment and lives a long way away and has financial problems. It doesn't sound like she's hurting anyone and maybe she just needs a helping hand.
