when I got this phone, they had this Sprint Premier program, and the primary account holder was eligible for a new device every year. So I picked this phone, knowing it didn't need to last me forever and ever. But then they killed Sprint Premier like 9 months later, so I'm now not eligible for a new phone until January 2013. Which is fine, if my phone works for more than a year. But if it doesn't, I'm going to be a little miffed that I picked a phone that was a little older because it only needed to last a year, and then it shit the bed and I need to pay for a replacement (Sprint sells refurb Optimus phones for $80 without needing a contract extension, or I could head to eBay.)
