this is a crazy position to be in. how awful - she should make her dad promise not to bring her - make him say the words.

then have the usher refuse them at the door.

maybe she should point blank say " I'd love to have my father be at my wedding, so Dad don't think she can be snuck in and I'll allow it".

he needs to know the consequences prior to bringing her. I can't imagine after knowing he'd bring her but people are weird. family is weird.
