I do opt-out everywhere I can, but it sucks that it's seemingly going to be extra-limited with google.

every site that has ads wants more specific marketing because those are more successful.
it's one thing if there's something I may be interested in - not that I'm clicking on many ads anyway, especially since I use rebates sites a lot for shopping; but it's totally creepy to me when I search for something that, say, comes up here, something I have no interest in myself, and then ads for it come up on a site hours later.
I use ccleaner frequently at home and work and that helps simple cookie-based stuff not work, but keystrokes and searches are so much ickier.
