IMO, the issue with the personally target ads on Google is that it feels like someone at Google sees your stats and personally matches you with ad

content.

But it's really just algorithms and the advertisers only know that eyes are seeing their ads and that those eyes meet specific criteria, but the don't know who those eyes belong to. Google could probably give them a list, but have said they don't do this in their privacy statement.


Facebook, on the other hand, I'm convinced that advertisers know exactly who is seeing their ads by name.
