he's been gone since 11am. he just called, he wants someone to come pick him up (he is 3 blocks away from the office). he had parked his car in a no parking zone, left it there for 2 hours, it go towed.

he better not think i am driving his ass home tonight (I am about to be the only person in the office, someone else is picking him up but has a board meeting at 5:30).

can i use a random sters name as my obligation tonight? like "sorry, i cant i have to meet my friend mara who is in town tonight for dinner, have to be there by 6pm."
