Stay - they were going to shut down because in three days they would have had no guests - the five that were there were departing. So for 4 of my 7 night 8 day stay I was the lone guest at the Long Bay Hotel - and WOW I just googled it and it's apparently closed & for sale or lease! It was family run when I visited - Chris, the son was running it during my stay as his parents were on vacation. Check the link - it was the coolest place! I picked it from a National Geographic Traveller magazine article from 1990 - it had just come out when I was looking for a diving destination. I made my own planes trains and automobiles trip - drove from N. Michigan to Sarnia - caught the train from Sarnia to Toronto - spent the night there and took a plane the next morning to Antigua - and then on my way back I spent 2 days in Toronto before taking the train back to Sarnia for my final drive home. It was an adventure - and I met the coolest people (travel alone just invites strangers to ask questions) - I'd also love to go back - am sad the family is struggling with the resort :(. It has a beautiful location - views - private beach - it was really special.
