Dude, it's not about the money. It's about the cap space. Snyder has the money. What he doesn't have is the cap space.

He could get there but it would be a Miami Heat situation where a lot of decent players have to be cut, which still leaves dead money in the cap.

The Colts had adjusted their roster to absorb this massive cap hit. Almost nobody else in football could. Manning would have to agree to a renegotiation that the players association would also approve. It's a very narrow fit for Peyton Manning to play anywhere but the Colts with his current contract.
