there are 4 full time people here, and one part timeish person, and one nonanything former employee who still gets treated like an employee person.

my boss had decided that we are using too much postage, and someone must be "stealing" postage from him.

so he locked the postage machine with a code.

4 people have the code. my boss, the other two full time, and the non employee person.

ie, he thinks i am stealing the postage.

in reality, i know that the non employee person is the one doing it, but she still gets the code (yes, this is the person he bought a new laptop for instead of giving out bonuses).

the stupidity of this is exceptionally saddening.
