and there's one poster that's just positively blinkered on this. (As a background, this is a guy who earnestly believes that polite society was ended by the Beatles, and that everything was fine in the 50s. No crime, no kidnapping, etc. No amount of reasoning or statistics can change this guy's mind). In his defence of Paterno's actions, he's gone from saying that someone of Paterno's age couldn't conceive of child rape, to saying that it would be physically impossible for Sandusky to rape a ten year old standing up in the shower because of the size differential, and then used that as proof that not only should Paterno not have reported the incident as told to him, but that no child was actually raped. He's then with no hint of irony said they were probably playing "Hide the soap", seemingly unaware that that's, you know, a metaphor for shower rape.
I take these bullets for you so you don't have to.
