that's why I want to know exactly what the assistant said to him about the shower incident.

if the assistant couched the incident for whatever reason, to soften it for Sandusky, out of embarrassment or to soften it for old guy Joe P than I can understand Joe P going to his superiors with the line about "something in proper" and not really *truly* understanding what was happening perhaps.
But if the assistant said, 'anally raping a 10 year old in the shower'...then that's different.
I do give Joe P a pass in comprehending all of it unless he was told explicitly what people saw. He's of a different age. Unless it happened in your family, church or community you didn't have "To Catch a Predator" as a frame of reference.
