I guess my point is that many people are far more demanding and assuming.

I had some guy yell at my 70 year old father on the phone because the place has some soap scum from him cleaning the place. The lease spec'd broom clean but Dad cleaned further than that.
Another person pulled a gun on my dad. Another a knife. Another assaulted my Dad.
People calling because an appliance doesn't work. In the lease (which I make them read before signing, Dad doesn't do that) they are to call a repair man and pay the first $150. Many don't and bully my Dad into coming in and fixing it.
We've had a ton of great tenants but the several bad Apples really burnt us.
