No whining. You were given a lot of good advice plus David gave you a link where you could buy the new version at a good price.

2 things I don't understand.
Why do you always look for group decisions when you're basically going to ignore the group?

Your current tivo is totally outmoded, it's obsolete. I recall a 2 week period a few years ago when you insisted you couldn't get closed captioning either on the tivo, your tv, or from your cable provider. Several people walked you through it, but you insisted they were all wrong. You had no idea how to hook things up, you said you were hopeless at setting up wired (or wire-less)equipment. So why in the world would you spend money buying a new hard drive that you don't know how to install for an obsolete piece of electronics?
I'm not asking to be mean or anything, I'm just trying to understand you. Is this part of that disease or condition you mentioned the other day?
