I wasn't a huge NFL fan until around 2004 or so, but for whatever reason, I had watched Williams' draft and can still vividly recall the interview with Ditka and the cigar.
Got a chance to see Williams here in Winnipeg during his CFL year. He wasn't the best fit for a CFL offence and didn't overwhelm that year, but had some injury troubles bite him during it.
