My general thought...Eli's 2 titles were timely game winners wrapped around stellar defensive efforts.

I think I read the Patriots in the two games were held to a combined 39 points less than they were averaging in those 2 seasons...that's a credit to the D-Lines et al far more than Eli...however, Eli led them down the field twice, which is the indelible images moreso than Osi/Tuck/JPP et al.
