I will challenge the notion that there is an ST collective wisdom.

This is a board of individuals, with a diverse set of values, ideals, and opinions. The fact that there is some alignment on certain issues across a partial section of the group is too often used to:
A) belittle the opinions fo that part of the group
B) act like wounded/attacked victims

I'm really nto a fan of that

(not saying you are doing B, or necessarily totally doing A, this is just a general vent and not spammie-specific)
