clerking for an appellate judge (who was always only one of a three-judge panel), 99% of the cases were boring as shit

having virtually no political aspect to them whatsoever. but even if he was ideological, there were still two other judges who had a vote

i think there are inter-personal politics between the various judges on any given court but my observation is that has more to do with conflicting personalities than political agendas
