One was a small Panasonic with noise cancellation. DO NOT LIKE! Holy smokes, it's like a headache machine!

The other was a huge Sony set (MDR-XD300). OMG. They're immense, but I love them. I'm taking these on my flight. You don't need noise cancellation when your headphones wrap your ears like this.
