I liked the other argument that people should be voting for rights.

I hate giving Sharpton credit but he was right when he said that. His point was really brought home when he talks about how the civil rights act never would have been enacted if the people of America were given the chance to vote on it. More is said than I can remember properly to be fair but it was well made point.
