What kind of support structure would that person have?

I can't see a drafted candidate faring any better than whoever has the most delegates by the time of the convention.

Getting on the ballot is only relevant in the primary. Once at the convention, delegates are only obligated to vote for their candidate to a point. -- nm - Mop (196 lbs) Feb 13, 10:32 1
