No, I LOVE Ashur. he is a fantastic villain. And the stuff with him and Doctore was great.
I just didnt buy the sloppiness of them capturing Quixus like that. Either it was filmed poorly or written poorly, but there was no reason that he needed to *sacrifice* himself there for them to get away (I mean I know he's not dead, least he shouldnt be dead). Also the fact that the Romans just happy to search the mines for them on the same day that Spartacus & Co. decide too? sloppy.
And Argo making up the lie that Naevia was dead in the first place seemed poorly written as well. I just didnt buy it.
And yea, unfortunately they re-cast Naevia this season. (I didnt hear anything about why she was though)
