I have a similar problem with too much to watch and not enough time in the day and days in the week.

I had the same problem as you with Boardwalk Empire. I wanted to like it but it was slow paced and just not very entertaining to watch. I was done by the fourth episode as well.
I shouldn't keep adding new shows without watching shows I already invested time in and that I haven't actually given up on but I don't want to miss out on something awesome.
