Have you set up a profile on LinkedIn ?

I would recommend it, it is like FB only strictly business related (use your real name). You can input your resume (download it directly, but be sure to check it so everything went in the right place) and your work strengths, join various groups. Great way to see who might be hiring in your area and to keep in touch with business contacts and create new ones. I just joined a week or so ago, really find it useful.
