My mom, who seemingly has gotten a hair or two better over the whole thing hasn't said much in a while, but that's a direct quote from her to me a few years ago.

That was before she blamed gay for destroying our family, hurting her marriage, and causing it to be uncomfortable going to the grocery store. Luckily she has backed off those claims in the past few months.
