someone, off handedly, mentioned the rule (the rule being, no female guest wears white to a wedding) and 2 people there are totally questioning it. like "I've never heard such a thing!", "i wore white once, i didn't know i shouldn't! Oh well, too bad, i wanted to look nice", blah blah blah.

This is insane right? Isn't this, like, the one rule of wedding-guesting that everyone knows? Or am i crazy?
