There's snow on the ground yet it's 80 degrees in the bedroom.

Our lease is up at the end of the month, so we just had a casual look at some places. One right by a golf course had been in the $320s last time we looked. They have six new condos selling for $250k now and a used one that had been $250k that is poised to drop lower to compete against the new ones.

But the newspaper industry is so scary right now that we're nervous at the thought of buying. If her job were 100% safe, we'd buy tomorrow.
