The odds of a Sal Cap though are slim and none so this is the best course; and it's going to hit the Sox/Yanks when they lose that 1 game play-in.

it's not great, but I assure you, there's more money to be made this way for Toronto/LA/Chi/Tampa etc than the Yanks/Sox/Tigers will ever agree to limit themselves to.
