Is Ad Aware still considered benevolent?

I just tried to update it and it's insisting on installing a Toolbar. I know it's truly Ad Aware but this insistence is very annoying/odd.

Anyone still using Ad Aware?

Ad Aware isn't on my good list for a while. AVG neither. I use Avast, Malwarebytes, Spybot Search/Destroy, and ccleaner - Qale Mar 1, 21:24 3
