FWIW, I largely stopped self-mixing funds in my 401(k) and just go with a blended fund.

We have the Fidelity age appropriate funds, but I went with a different one.

My IRA is a mixture because I can get a wider range, so I have a preferred stock one, a gold/swiss franc one, etc...
