he confirms he doesn't want to get better if he has to let one of them go.

although his wife doesn't believe him, she has a glimmer of hope - may help her grieve to go along with some of it.

how awful to not be able to share the joys of your son's triumphs with his own mother cause she thinks he's dead.

very, very interesting concept.
