Remediation sucks and it's expensive. There's a huge lead paint problem here in the STL.

It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me but I'd fight like hell to get the seller to remediate it.
Responses:
I had it in my house in allentown. there, it was like, "oh lead paint. the seller's on that for you." I didn't even have to ask. -- nm
