There was an article in Men's Health a couple of months ago about the virtues of going overseas for surgical procedures.

India and Thailand were a couple of places specified. They have some state of the art hospitals, with higher success rates than US hospitals, at a fraction of the cost (including hotel stays and the like).

Also - some US medical insurance companies are starting to paying for airfare/cost of treatment etc because it's cheaper than in the US -- nm - Roger More Jan 22, 13:31 1
