The Lorax opening to 70+ tells me that parents were pent up and now they can wait a bit longer for the next kids movie.

(This would be really funny if Lorax was a PG-13 movie or higher and I had no clue, because I'm really not in touch with cinema right now).
In other words, it may not translate to other films.
