I have been at my parents house since last tuesday, leaving tomorrow. I have to say this has been a (mostly) wonderful week.

I dont think my mother and I have enjoyed spending time together sad much as we have this week. And it's also been great spending time with family/people who are excited about the baby, as that isn't really the case back home.

I will say, I don't know how my mother has not had a nervous breakdown yet between dealing with my "I've recovered from the chemo and radiation but am still going to lay on the couch for 20 hrs a day and pick and choose when I can do things for myself" father, and my crazy grandmother who calls her multiple times a day, convinced the banks are going to steal her money.

My mother has the patience of a saint.

- Maybe...the problem here is that he is over medicatingand is also depressed, and refuses to do anything about either (despite what the doctors have to - kelly Mar 5, 10:33
