Something that's been bugging me about CNN's primary coverage

what the hell do they have against contrasting colours on their maps? Why have three shades of red and one of purple for four candidates? Why not a yellow, an orange, a green in there so we can actually make heads or tails of their maps, instead of "well that's Romney in fuschia, Gingrich in magenta, Ron Paul in crimson..."
