Looks like what Buddy had las Fall when I was watching my brothers dogs & Covington Cat was visiting. Vet had a special soap that I used every day

In the morning to treat it - plus try to keep Buddy from licking it - and it healed 100% - My brother & SIL never mentioned what it was but I will email them to ask and post it tomorrow. Oh - and Buddy is a Golden Retriever too - Mia - there other Golden had it too - but not as bad.
