To take your analogy further, is the Jeff Green trade not a bust for the Celtics cause he got sick (they could have not made the trade at all, or gone a different way)?

A bust to me is a wasted pick/trade/signing/whatever when there was another option evidently available (and in some cases when there was not) regardless of injuries.

Who knew at the time Ryan Leaf would be a nutter laazy useless player when most scouts had him ranked as the first or second QB in that draft? Does that not make him a bust either?
