and actually, you're right, i think i overstepped my definition a little, but not in a way that changes the Oden argument.

what in effect i am saying is, there is a difference between someone who is drafted, tries to play, and fails, and someone who is drafted and then finds themselves unable to even try to play. that could happen to anyone. Kobe, Durant, CP3, anyone.
