Haloers: What is that weapon that is sitting on the bridge in Sword Base that runs into the bottom floor of the green elevator room?

I have never really used it much and was having an excellent time using that combined with armor lock EMP and a quick forearm to the face. Managed to get double digit kills in more than one game. Not a tactic that will work well in every map but it was great on that.
