In response to "heh. (What is the new scoring system, out of curiosity?) -- nm" by Don Homer

They've thrown out the old 6.0 scoring system with ordinals applied to technical and artistry.

Now everything scored by what you earn for your grade of execution on any particular move. You can add up the point totals for yourself based on how well you perform something and the degree of difficulty that has been applied to that element beforehand. It's all about adding up as many points as possible and putting them into your basket.

You used to see 2 skaters get both get 5.8s and 5.9s for a program and then a subjective ordinal placement showing where a judge thought you placed in comparison to the rest of the field. They don't do that anymore.
