Now that the Obama Administration has essentially started its campaign, the story will probably turn into Obama vs Romney "and the rest"

I guess that's a form of the "inevitability" story... That said, the "slog for delegates" story isn't something that should go away altogether, because it provides a way for us to measure the effects of the SuperPACs.
