Inappropriate or very inappropriate?

So let me ask you all. How inappropriate is this?
We had a meeting yesterday, held by the director of the department. Going over company goals, quarterly results, etc.
Towards the end of the meeting he relays a visit he had to a client of ours. And proceeded to explain how wildly gay (not the words he used) one of the clients was. I believe he said he was soo you know. very feminine..
Then went on at length mimicking his voice, inflections, and body movements etc. Laughing as if he it was the best time he has had in years listening to this person. He never said any disparaging or outright name, but..
Bad? Real bad?
There was some very uncomfortable laughter and some genuine laughter too.
But I find the entire thing exceptionally off-putting.

If there's a way to report that to HR without them knowing who reported.......
