omg, mara, too. I think you will love this. this morning I woke up to no heat for the third time in two weeks. I paged my friend jonathan:

"my heat is broken again. this is less than optimal."
and then I went to a movie.
he rang me a dozen times during the movie which freaked me out because we communicate mainly via page and email. so I paged him after the movie, all like, what's up?
and he's like, OMG, what happened; is there anything I can do to help?
I said, no don't be silly, it's just really cold.
and he's like, mandy I am so so sorry. I know you don't really emote and I'm totally honored that you chose to tell me.
and I was all confused and thought about this for five minutes and then paged back: you idiot. my heat is broken. not my damn heart.
and he's like: oh. my bad. never mind.
all day I have been paging him minute shit like "I just got dumped by yet another cleaning lady. I am heartbroken."
and he's like, god, let it go. will I never live this down??
I swear he's never met me. this is *gold.*
