Not sure if it was Romney or an interviewer who used the term, but the world is so heavily connected economically now that we don't have the old friend and foe concept. Basically everyone is a friend and a foe in varying degrees. Calling one out as #1 foe is a bad idea in that sense (and is probably precisely why Romney did NOT name China....we are heavily economically dependent on them. Not so much Russia)
