I disagree with his rhetoric. I think he has some valid points. I think in many respects Russia has taken several steps backwards in the last few

years (and the Russian people are starting to react as well). We've sort of brushed off the cold war a while ago and now see them mostly as friendly, but they are making things very difficult for us on an international level. It's not so much the threat they pose in and of themselves, as much as the extent to which they are interfering with global efforts to try to deal with problems.
