I will say this though, as a teacher, we are entering a new era of rule interpretation regarding social media

Twitter, facebook and everything else, mixed with high school kids (or younger) creates a unique environment for bullying. Rumors can spread in seconds now. Conversations and arguments can happen during classes while kids are in different rooms.
It's essentially a new animal altogether.
