Work dilemma - Do I write up my Clerk?

Backstory - My A/R Clerk is married to one of the owners, the Production Manager. My Boss, the CEO is the brother of the Production Manager. And they hate each other.

For the most part, she has been very good employee, but her work has slipped a little because work is getting stressful because of the tension between the brothers.

Well, last month she charged one clients charges to another clients CC. To the tune of $25,000. It has gotten resolved, but the clients aren't too happy.

Of course my boss wants me to write her up. My problem is that it would probably start WWIII and she would probably quit

I need another job
