You would get in the middle of this and it would get ugly fast.

Is there anyway to talk to the husband and tell him what happened? Does he already know?

Your bosses sound like our family business just before it was torn to shreds. The business is still there but my immediate family is no longer involved. It sounds like it's getting to that point here. Keeping your head down is the best way around here.
